Project Description
For this project, our brief was to deliver a “soundproof” room where our clients could relax and enjoy music without disturbing fellow family members and neighbours. We sort advice from specialists to incorporate several different methods to reduce both high and low-frequency sound from transferring throughout the structure. Bespoke, sound-reducing glass bifold doors skillfully separate the studio from the pool area, allowing the space to go from quiet and cave-like to open and sociable. The owners were particularly delighted by the versatility of the space.
Pleasant areas for the warmer months.
As part of this project, we also replaced the front timber stairs with a set of hand-cut ironbark stairs as well as insulated and lined the northeast-facing verandah ceiling. These changes have made both the veranda and adjoining rooms pleasant areas for the warmer months.
